So you know by now that moments after Burberry's See Now Buy Now show on Saturday, all 99 pieces became available on Farfetch. Those rainbow-hued high-tops, giant totes and reworked trenches, transported from show to shopping cart as if delivered by angels. But what you probably didn’t know, was that we had our very own insider – blogger and Burberry fan Courtney Trop, creator of ALWAYSJUDGING – there to spill on all the action of London Fashion Week’s most talked about show. Here’s what she had to say…
Farfetch: First things first, what were your show highlights?
Courtney: ‘Well, aside from the reimagined rainbow check in support of LGBTQ, the biggest surprise [for me] was the return of Cara Delevingne to the catwalk, decked out in a multi-coloured faux fur coat. “Don’t Leave Me This Way” blared in the background as she closed the show in momentous Burberry style - it gave me chills!’

‘Moving, inspirational, star-studded and epic!’
What was the atmosphere like behind-the-scenes?
‘There was just so much excitement and hype! Perhaps marked by the end of an era for the brand, or simply because the message behind the collection struck [such] a chord with everyone. People were there to have fun, [but] also to support something incredibly important - that was very clear backstage and throughout the show.’
Now about your outfit, tell us about that look...
It had to be a trench, naturally…I wore the shiny new blue vinyl version, paired with the pleated buckle skirt and a plaid shirt.
What’s your everyday uniform?
‘Laid back suiting. Or lately I’ve been loving Eighties London grunge - very fitting with Burberry’s aesthetic actually!’
Who are your style heroes?
‘Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, always. Also, Winona Ryder, Kate Moss, Drew Barrymore in the Nineties were pretty cool.’
Finally, what’s on your Burberry Farfetch Wish List?
‘If I had to narrow it down I’d choose the vintage check dressing gown, bucket hat, and then of course, the reversible rainbow Harrington jacket. It’s classic Burberry on one side, reinvented rainbows on the other - perfect for wherever your mood takes you.
