Acute jealousy aside, the latest iteration of Pharrell’s adidas Hu NMD collaboration is aptly called Blank Canvas - inspired by the musician’s recent trip to India, where he experienced the Hindu festival of Holi, in which attendees pelt one another with powders dyed every conceivable hue. And so in typical Pharrell style, the Blank Canvas is an invitation to personalise your kicks, although the pristine white colourway looks perfectly good to us.
Other important hardware details? A white lining and laces, the signature Boost midsole, a jagged outsole and the word ‘World’ embossed on the Primeknit upper.
Now. The Hu NMD Holi Blank Canvas might be the poster boys of the summer sneaker season, the freshest trainers in your rotation, but there’s more in this pack to look out for: Pharrell has also applied the Blank Canvas motif to a pair of Tennis Hu PK sneakers and some Stan Smiths that feature a Primeknit upper and leather upper.
The Pharrell x adidas Hu Holi “Blank Canvas” drop on Feb 23rd. Keep checking Farfetch if you want to score a pair.
