Kanye’s been a busy boy of late, especially when it comes to his footwear collaboration with Adidas. Not only is he finally giving an official online launch to his Yeezy Boost 700 “Waverunner” kicks, but on March 17 he’s also dropping the retro-inspired Yeezy Powerphase in all-black.
This version is the third colourway of the Powerphase style and features gold Calabasas branding on the quarter panel and green and red Adidas branding on the eyestay (that’s the panel that holds the eyelets - we had to look it up too). Beautifully understated in style but invariably hyped in sneaker props, the retro-looking Powerphase Black are an essential addition to any self-respecting sportswear-inspired wardrobe and at £90, it’s all upside from where we’re sitting.
